Me and Journalism

I remember when I was a child when my siblings would refer to me in our local language (Hausa) as "Yar Jarida" meaning the journalist, because of the inquisitive questions I asked then, whenever something happened. Since then, I believed I was to grow up to became a journalist.

I hope to make the best use of my journalism skills and knowledge which I derive from practice in the areas of investigative journalism, oddities, and gender programmes - culture, health, and business programmes, which will influence the welfare of mankind.

Me and Development

There is nothing as joyful as seeing potential being tapped to its fullest. Everywhere I look, I see opportunities. I believe that when utilised, they can lead to significant improvement in the development of nations, especially the poor countries.

I believe I have to give my little contribution towards the development of our universe.

Me and Africa

From Gambia to Kenya, from Tunisia to South Africa, anywhere I looked at in Africa can leave me in amazement of what I see and think of this wonderful continent, the people industrious, humble and well looking. The climate from tropical rain forest of the Savannah south to the extreme hot desert of the north, the culture is captivating and inspiring.

The food is exotic and can be only compared to nowhere else, if only the leadership of this great continent could be selfless, I can foresee a continent of great nations.
