With  organisational and technical support from the Deutsche Welle Team, the journalists produced 10 unique pieces (3 radio and 7 TV), two of which were presented during the closing ceremony on Friday, 8 April.
 

During the week, the participants also enjoyed some cultural activities and became familiar with the surroundings of  Bonn and Cologne. As a very special extra, the group got together for an international dinner party, to become one of the highlights of the entire workshop. Everybody brought either food or sweets or liquors from their home countries, making it an unforgettable experience. At the end of the week, true and strong friendships were forged among the African and European participants.
